Executive Biographies - Theodore J. Katikos

Mr. Katikos is the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and a Senior Vice President of Lease Corporation of America. As CFO, he is responsible for all of the financial accounting, treasury and tax matters of LCA. In addition, the Information Technology and Human Resource Departments report to him.

During his tenure at LCA, Mr. Katikos has strengthened the company’s relationships with existing financial institutions, and has expanded the number of relationships with banks and funding sources. Upon his arrival, he immediately streamlined the company’s month end closing process, allowing for the prompt reporting of monthly GAAP statements. In addition, he reorganized the collection process resulting in improved portfolio performance and increased revenues.

Prior to joining LCA, Mr. Katikos was with the Global Vendor Finance Division of Heller Financial, where he served as its North American Finance Officer and then as Operations Manager in Troy, Michigan. Before Heller Financial, Mr. Katikos served in Dana Commercial Credit’s small-ticket division primarily as the Controller responsible for the finance, accounting and various operational functions of the company. During his tenure at Dana Commercial Credit, Mr. Katikos was involved with its Six Sigma initiative, which culminated in Dana Commercial Credit’s receipt of the distinguished Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award. Mr. Katikos also has a wealth of experience in corporate taxation.

Mr. Katikos received both his Bachelor’s Degree in 1976 and his MBA in 1979 from Wayne State University and his MST (Taxation) in 1982 from Walsh College. He is also a CPA.
