Executive Biographies - Brian C. Kemp

Mr. Kemp is LCA’s Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this role Mr. Kemp is responsible for growing and leading LCA’s sales force, overseeing all levels of sales management and marketing, as well as developing and strengthening new and existing manufacturer relationships. Joining LCA in 1992, Mr. Kemp has been instrumental in the company’s success both in sales and leadership positions. As an Account Executive Mr. Kemp set numerous sales records including 15 million in new business written, a one year record that still stands today.

Under Mr. Kemp’s leadership LCA was awarded Motorola’s coveted Pinnacle Award for LCA’s continuing and exceptional service to Motorola’s independent dealer network.

In 2008 Mr. Kemp was the catalyst behind a restructure of LCA’s sales team. Through his efforts LCA created four unique sales teams and developed the position of Business Development Officer to lead each team. Resulting from this change LCA is in a better position to develop new account executives and systematically grow its core business markets. Along with the restructure, Mr. Kemp was the architect behind a three tiered promotion track put in place for Account Executives. This program allows sales reps to achieve higher levels of recognition and compensation for exceptional work.

Additionally, in 2008 Mr. Kemp spearheaded the design and implementation of a comprehensive sales training program. Through his efforts LCA has a 10 day initial training program for new team members and a monthly advanced training program for LCA veterans that combines leasing and sales techniques with LCA’s vision statement and core philosophies.

In 2009 Mr. Kemp will continue to broaden LCA’s network of manufacturers by identifying emerging industries and creating unique leasing products to meet their demands. Mr. Kemp will also remain committed to team member development by expanding LCA’s training to include programs specifically geared towards individuals in leadership roles at LCA.
